FrontRange Solutions recently released HEAT 9.0, the first version release of HEAT in more than 4 years. This new version of HEAT contains numerous new features aimed at making your HEAT database more efficient and powerful.

  • A HEAT Web User Interface for Technicians
  • A New HEAT Messaging Center

  • Create and Update tickets with HTTP requests
  • Transfer data via Web Services
  • New AutoTask Options:
  • Opens Web Form in Call Record
  • Passes Data from Call Record
  • Create HEATBoard Item
  • Used to Create a HEATBoard Issue
  • Go To Call
    • Can be used to establish Parent – Child Relationships between Call Records
    • If Field is Empty (from 8.4.5)
  • Evaluates a field, if it is not populated, runs AutoTask X, if it is populated, runs Auto Task Y
  • Execute External Service Request
  • Pass Call Record Data to Receiving Web Service

This 2-day engagement is a quick upgrade project designed to get your HEAT database upgraded to 9.0 and to implement several new features. This package includes: 

  1. Upgrading the HEAT database to 9.+
  2. Installation and configuration of new HEAT Web User Interface
  3. Changing 1-3  Auto-Ticket Generator profile to the new HEAT Messaging Center
  4. If you are using HEAT Self Service that will be upgraded as well
  5. StarCare onsite for "Go - live" if during the 2 day period

 

The 4-Day HEAT 9.+ Upgrade Package (Package 2)

This upgrade package contains everything in the Package 1, but with some additional enhancements and training.

This package includes: 

  1. Upgrading the HEAT database to 9.+
  2. A brief requirements analysis
  3. Installation and configuration of new HEAT Web Interface
  4. Changing Auto-Ticket Generator profiles to the new HEAT Messaging Center
  5. If you have HEAT Self Service that will be upgraded as well
  6. Building up to 5 new business rules in BPAM
  7. A 4-hour training session on the new database
  8. StarCare onsite for "Go - live" if during the 4 day period  

The 7-Day HEAT 9.0 Upgrade Package (Package - 3)

This upgrade package contains everything in the Package 2, but with some additional enhancements and training.

This package includes: 

StarCare will come in for several days and go over you system in depth.

  1. StarCare will then create an analysis report with suggestions for your system
