Note:  There are several reasons this product was discontinued:

• Dbase no longer supported and it was not that stable
• Would not run in Vista or Windows 7 or Windows 8
• FrontRange is really not in the "Single User" business

Ok so let's be honest!  If you have been using this product for 4 or 7+ years you have more than gotten a value++ for what you paid.

When you think about it, Windows has been replaced 2+ times, MS Office has been replaced 3+ times

and your cell phone has been replaced 4+ times, but you still have GoldMine Standard Edition - Dbase.

GoldMine Standard was discontinued 7+ years ago, but many people are still using it.

Out policy has always been that 10+ users or 10k+ records the client should have been on  a SQL Version of GoldMine.

Here is the surprise, customers running this software for all these years do not see or cannot understand the value of an upgrade.

Gee maybe you will get another 5 or 10 years out of the product.  Is that so bad?  You are not getting that with other products!
